Verification System

Our verification process uses automated checks to maintain community integrity. Two categories of checks may prevent verification from completing.

Alt Detection

During verification, the system evaluates correlated network and device signals to determine whether the account is linked to another previously verified account.

  • If a linked account is inaccessible (revoked or previously flagged), verification is permanently denied.
  • This decision is final and cannot be reversed through re-verification.

If you receive this restriction and believe it was applied in error, contact an administrator.

VPN Intrusion

When the system detects that a verification attempt originates from an anonymized or hosted network (such as a VPN, proxy, or data center), the attempt is temporarily blocked.

  • This restriction is temporary.
  • Switching to a standard residential connection and requesting a new verification link will allow the process to proceed normally.
  • A successful verification clears the network flag.

Privacy

The verification system does not store raw personal identifiers. All network and device signals are processed into non-reversible derived values before any comparison or storage occurs. Linkage data is kept separate from user account records and is not accessible outside the verification process.
